Design Notes!

XD My mother is e-mailing on the desktop, so I can't work on it. See, my notebook doesn't have Microsoft Access or Microsoft Publisher, so I can't do either the library stuffs or the magazine right now. oh well, I might as well blog on my progress.

Library System
Monday was zero progress. I befuddled myself and got real tired. Tuesday was better. Thank God I learnt subforms! First I made a new interface that includes borrowing and returning on the same form (while showing the book's title). Too bad it deleted books from the database whenever you hit 'return'. That's like returning a book to the librarian who immediately throws it out the window.

Yeah, that was testing. The next version seems to be free of that error. Today I'll see if I can redo it on a full database (not the one with books missing :). Apparently the way we keep records of loans (and then erase them) will make it very difficult, if not impossible, to chart statistics.
