my island home .. where dreams are born everyday
gah! responsibilities! I'm not a kid anymore! XD heh, but I'll always remain young in the eyes of others ^^ (or maybe that's not a good thing where adults are concerned):
I'm busy with several things today. First, I'm stuffing my head full of propaganda. I'm playing NDP songs on the desktop computer. My own speakers are faulty (someday I shall get a new notebook computer! probably in about 2 years, after ORD -.-)
Other than that, I've been looking through scholarships and university courses. Apparently I plan to apply for university by today. I have to, of course. Tomorrow I shall do scholarships, and on thursday I go Tekong.
I've ruled out NTU (you'd know why if you've been reading my blogs). SMU doesn't seem to have courses appealing to me, so I might only apply there next year if NUS doesn't give me what I want. What do I want? THIS. Should God will it I can become a researcher useful to the Creationist cause. If not at least I can find work. Too bad it's not gonna be easy to enter.. but I shall try, first by applying for Materials Science & Engineering.
What happened to Environmental Engineering? It got pushed to 2nd place. I don't really believe in doing what I like, rather, I should do what I am able to. Though I like the environment, the work may not be nice, so I don't want to disappoint myself. Furthermore, I might not get into EnvEng because I don't have H2 Chemistry.
Third would be Geography. Seems like a back-up, but really, I don't mind studying it. Just hope I don't keep failing it like I did in SecSch and JC. hahah~ and I'll probably put Physics as my final choice. I can always reapply next year: A benefit of NS is that I can apply 3 times. Unfortunately, my mind will probably rot during that time.
