I feel like shutting down this blog because it compels me to update at least once a month.

Sigh.. I think that the whole world is obsessed with getting experience. It's become a commonly cited reason to take a certain course of action (usually travelling someplace or being enrolled somewhere). Yet it's so stupid - as though gaining experience can help one level up! 'Experience' is often just an excuse for self indulgence.

The worst end is, I'm so caught up in this too. Even though I mock such a rationale, all I'm doing is selecting some experiences over others. When I don't have a good reason for doing something, the pervasive concept of experience is probably behind it..
