It's been rather wet for the past few hours. Waves after waves of rainclouds released their load over us. This cool weather is nice, but at the same time air pressure has remained high. At 11am it's still about 1014mb. What this means is that once the clouds clear, cloud formation will be suppressed, neither will storms be likely to move over Singapore. This should hold for at least a few days.
I now can identify the cloud formation I call 'ring clouds'. This phenomena signals the approach of a thunderstorm. As rain falling downwards pushes the surrounding air outwards, some of this air is forced upwards to develop a band of clouds beyond the thunderstorm. Usually incapable of precipitation themselves, the approach of the ring clouds is soon followed by strong gusts of wind, and then the storm itself.
Wednesday was unusual. I woke up late and didn't make it to the Geography remedial (or ice-cream party). Then I left for Tampines to adjust my specs, where my mother convinced me to make a new pair. I chose maroon. Then I left to study at SMU before Bible study, and discovered Sheena and Rachel mugging downstairs too. They weren't free to join the Bible study; it went well anyway. I still don't like these 'new-age' doughnuts..
The sole of my foot was swollen yesterday from the freezing. I still don't know what to do about it. I would try continuously applying aggressive techniques after exams if there is no improvement.
