We Will Get There

one month to 19.. sigh.. I won't be a teen for much longer.
eh wait, how is that a bad thing?


Today's cycling was intense. Though, thankfully we didn't get lost throughout the trip (just a few short detours :). I went with Jessica all the way to MJC. Haven't been there for more than a year! I brought PE and infiltrated to buy cookies, but they were closed XD. Then we went to Kembangan (and there's this Hill Difficulty..) where she got her no-pay vet internship. Then on the way back a bird happily bombed my bike handle. eww.

Now I know why my grandfather uses gloves when cycling. I pretty much squeeze my handles hard to control my bike.. and now my palms are a bit raw. I need to pump the wheels tomorrow too, XD my bike pump is leaky.


Tomorrow we will see the release of Singapore's Budget 2009. I've never taken much interest in it, but in these bad times it sounds like hope to so many people. The gloom that is come upon us is fraught with uncertainty. It could be the first major depression since decades ago. Yet, I believe that if our government maintains integrity we will pull through. I wish that a strong communal sense will return, and perhaps we can actually regain what social ground we have lost in our economic pursuits over the last years.

Hence I shall share this song with all of you readers.
